Flatliners - The next in a long line of unnecessary remakes

Following on from Ghostbusters, Sony Pictures have produced a remake/reboot/sequel of the 1990 sci-fi/horror film Flatliners.

Here's the trailer for the original, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon.

And now the trailer for the remake, coming to theaters on September 29.

The Difference: The characters are actually realistic and saying "I'm not doing that particular experiment because fuck I'm not gonna kill myself. Nor hurt myself for the quest of finding out what's going on after I die because I respect that underline area of science and nature. " - 1980s version

2017 - "OH MY GOD GUYS WE GOTTA DIE AND COME BACK ALIVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS EPIC HIGH BROS!!!"

This movie is going to end in the worst possible way fashion.

I remember the "remake" is actually a sequel.

It was marketed as a sequel because Kiefer Sutherland is in both films, however his role in the new film turned out to be a cameo as a new character just like the (surviving) cast of Ghostbusters appearing in the 2016 reboot.
