Food & drinks you're trying to give up -

I gave up drinking all carbonated soda a while ago and never looked back. It's water and smoothies all the way from now on, and one small coffee and pro-biotic yogurt drink in the morning.

Also giving up potato chips was a good move. Those things are far too oily and salty. I'd rather eat dry-roasted nuts (mainly cashews but almonds and peanuts and other kinds are good also as long as they don't have added salt or flavoring).

Giving up spicy chicken curry right now. Let's just say it really doesn't agree with my stomach. Replaced that with chicken breast, lemon and thyme flavored rice and carrots and peas, an alternate meal is all that but replacing chicken breast with smoked haddock.

Chips, I'll eat the whole bag if left unattended with them as long as it isn't a garbage flavor like barbecue. The solution is just to not have them in the house. There are other salty foods that I just need to stop buying as well since I can't eat them in moderation.

The last thing I cut out was soda, mostly cause I just lost my craving for the stuff. Now I just drink water, coffee, tea and alcohol.

I'm looking to cut out chips and candy and replacing them with fruit and nuts, but that may be more of an uphill battle than soda considering my school's godawful produce selections.
