this is a thread for food reviews. Today I bought a cheese pizza and breadsticks from Pizza Hut. That shit was good fam, can't take pics of it cuz it's in my belly now but it tasted really good. Was a little wary of buying from them again because last time I ate Pizza Hut I got food poisoning, but no poisoning so far so I think I'm good.

The Pizza itself was really doughy, which kinda took away from the taste a bit but was still good. The sauce and cheese were great. 7.5/10, good pizza.

Breadsticks were alright, spicy in a good way and the sauce that came with them was good. 8/10 breadsticks.

I ate my gfs pussy out which tasted pretty good also.

Yesterday I had Panago Cheesy Bread. It tasted like butter and cheese. I felt awful afterwards, like my blood was turning into gravy and my skin felt like I had dived into an oil spill. If took the cheese off of one and slammed it on the ground and stepped on it, I would slide at least ten feet unassisted.

7/10. Would eat again.

Yesterday I had Cheerwine for the first time. My god, was it good. I mean yeah it tasted exactly as I expected: Cherry. But the kind of cherry your parents would associate with a quality (cheap) beverage and not the overly sweet swill pretending to be cherry cola from the other team. It's better straight from the bottle and without ice. I think this is the only place in Arlington that was actively selling Cheerwine, as far as restaurants go. I never could find it myself.

Overall 5/5

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is perhaps the only chicken restaurant chain I can stand by above Popeye's, as the Texas scene is flooded with an overabundance of repetitious chicken establishments all under a nationwide identity. Here we have a restaurant chain that literally focuses on just the core chicken basket: Tenders (of preferred quantity), Fries (Crinkle Cut), Texas Toast, and Cane's Sauce (Secret, of course). Cole Slaw makes it a complete chicken meal, true to carnivores.

Chicken is something I feel typically suffers more when it's accompanied in a complex menu of twenty items and above. Cane's is running over twenty years strong with very very few menu options you can barely count with one hand, and only one 'exotic' item includes their sandwich, which is their tenders served on bun with crisp dark green lettuce and signature sauce. There has not been a single complex or non-chicken meal introduced to the menu, as to honor Todd Grave's company vision.

Their strict focus on simplicity pays off in droves, and I have not in the eight times I've been here had a single complaint. The only thing I have experienced is the occasional forgotten extra sauce, because one "finger" is big enough to clear a whole cup of sauce. The breading has a salt and pepper shake, which is just enough to let you still taste the chicken which is browned perfectly from the fryer. I feel like even alone the chicken is moist enough to dress itself, but you seriously cannot doubt the fortitude of Todd's mad sauce chemistry. The bread isn't a crunchy toast but is rather a boat to deliver the sauce if you manage to not finish it off right away, don't knock it until you try it.

All in all there isn't much else to say, but Todd Graves proves that a smaller menu pays off in a greater yield of quality, allows care and simple taste to shine every serving, and so far I haven't had a bad experience with Cane's.

If you love adorable dogs, give them a try, please...

I RATE 5/5

Tried McDonald’s new spicy chicken sandwich. Honestly it was a lot better than I thought it would be. It’s still food from McDonald’s so don’t set your expectations too high, but it’s easily one of the better things they serve 7/10
