I'm looking to get a Ford Ranger. When do you think Ford would have the best sales or what is the best way to get it as cheap as possible?
For US Car Sales People - When do dealerships do the best sale of the year? Specifically Ford Trucks? - Looking for inside info cuz I'm poor

I think the best time is when the next year's lineup is being pushed and dealerships are trying to get more lot space opened up.

I know. It seems cheaper to buy a new truck than a recent model used truck. Especially if you look at finance options.
Just wait for TRUCK MONTH (!!!!!) when you can get GREAT DEALS on POWERFUL RAM TRUCKS!!!!!

I mean the f-150 basic is not a bad buy. If you want the ranger more power to you but there isn’t a huge price increase over to a f-150.

I'm thinking of the size difference. I want a smaller truck. Have Rangers gotten that big that they're the same size as a F150 now?
Edit: just checked and the Ranger is still a smaller truck by over 2' shorter in length and half a foot shorter in height.

They are still smaller than a F150 but it’s still a four door truck. There is a sale event right now and it’s worth it for the Ranger.

You can go on Ford's website for a $3000 coupon right now. There are always discounts on Ford trucks. (outside the Raptor and a few other special cases...)
Lowest price is usually around the nearest auto show, but interest rates are going up so it might be moot looking for that extra few hundred in savings unless you're not financing.
I just got an Escape Hybrid for commuting, don't think overall waiting would have saved me anything since I financed a significant chunk of it. If I was paying cash for the whole thing I would have waited a few months for the auto show here.

Where the hell are you that they're not bending over backwards to move Ford trucks? Can't be anywhere worth living.
Where does that say they aren't still being discounted and they aren't available? That says they're idling Dearborn for 3 days. Rangers aren't even built at Dearborn.
The T6 Ranger they’re selling now is referred to as a “mid size” pickup.
Comparing to the old Hilux, Courier, Mazda mini trucks from the early 2000’s they’re wider & higher.
Next year there’s a twin turbo V6 petrol Ranger coming.
