I'm gonna allow this one, since the last time we had threads with Devi, she acted relatively normal until an apocalyptic chimp-out hit. Whilst the grammar and formatting of this particular post are terrible, it does raise an interesting point, and I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to keep it on task. Otherwise off to Inner Circle for mockery it goes.

What grammar don't you like? I'm certainly willing to amend it. Granted, I was going for a more casual voice and style, but it looks like appositives are properly framed and whatnot. I'll try to stick to MLA or other documented standard if that is what the forum prefers. I didn't realize that was an issue. I did not mean to cause problems with that.

As to the statement "Also no one's gotten a refund yet" .¹ I seriously doubt that's accurate.

As to "...the last time we had threads with Devi, she acted relatively normal until an apocalyptic chimp-out hit".² I don't see how that would have bearing on the core question or observation of Devi's behavior elsewhere, most particularly in the crowdfunding arena. I was unaware members (even those in other-than-good standing) received preferential treatment regarding these sorts of questions. I would have thought Kiwi Farms would not be prone to hugboxing and was operating under that impression.

While I do take exception to some of your statements and others I am unclear about, I do, none-the-less, appreciate your time, attention, and diligence.
Sorry for ruffling feathers, I didn't realize Devi Ever was such a touchy subject in these here parts. ³


¹ "Also" should have a delineating comma. I'm just not clear on how strictly you want to adhere to MLA or similar standards.

² In this use, "normal" should be in the adverbial form "normally" as it modifies "acted".

³ As a colloquialism, the grammar and punctuation of that expression my be more loose than typical standards.

NOTE A: It appears this system does not recognize leading spaces for indentation. My failure to properly indent is an artifact of the text entry system.

NOTE B: Do you prefer single or double spaces after a period (used as a full stop)? I'm old enough to have started on non-kerning manual typewriters so I am more used to double, but I know that has become unfashionable.

A guy from NIN apparently did. That makes good strategic sense; hard to name-drop if you've pissed em off.
A squeaky wheel who started a facebook support group got refunded by that Aussie guy on the Notch rant video
Another guy got stuff from the folks at Dwarfcraft.

I don't know if everyone got paid off. I seriously doubt it though and I really wouldn't expect a straight answer from D-E on it anyway.

OTOH, I don't know of any massive freakouts like on that video or "ima quit interwebz" type conniption fits. So maybe it's a downgrade from drama llama to just sleazy character. Uncool to be sure, but not that much entertainment value.
