I'm fine with using reference pictures for practice since I do it myself (not bases though), but she's been trying to pull off that as her own unique work with no credit.

"The bases are free so it's okay" doesn't work unless she credits them and they allow her to use them not only for practice but also for commissions. I'd also imagine her fans would've liked to know how "original" her art is before buying it.

Her hair makes her look, as I said before, like a 15 year old weeaboo. Guess thats what is "in" for the college age peeps.

Shes basically picking the low-hanging fruit in all attention seeking fronts: dA generic art, Pokemon lets plays, wouldn't be surprised if there's a bunch of Sims or Minecraft games too.
A lot of base artists request that you don't use them for commissions.
