Freud - Who thought a show about Freud was a good idea?

I just got Netflix yesterday- it's been a long while. And I find out that madman has a TV show? I've been told it's funny but I'm not getting over what I expect to me a man snorting cocaine and telling another man that the reason he's not doing his best is because he needs to fuck his mother.
