I'm making a mod for this game, so im glad the game is at an all time high for popularity. This game was made by millennials for zoomers, so of course it has a lot of gay and cringe. I like it though, even if the current modding setup makes me want to quit sometimes

I take it back, this game was a mistake.
It tries to be DDR and yet from what I could tell about it talking to people who are actually autistically into DDR, the charts in FNF suck. They don't seem to have been designed very well in terms of being playable on an actual mat as opposed to just a keyboard, and apparently abuse a lot of the much harder mat movements far too frequently.
I can't speak for the rest of the game since I don't pay attention to it, but the DDR players I spoke to reacting to the charts was pretty entertaining.

I feel you brother, but I tend to chalk this up to current year media being so bland and miserable that any time something with even a slightly original idea comes out people dogpile on it just because its something different. I mean, look at how much attention Hotline Miami got.
