That's why I get all my news from infowars. It's the only outlet you can trust to be true and honest.
Honestly, the media shows how god damn arrogant they are now. Instead of saying, ok we were wrong we've been pushing a line... let's kiss and make up, their idea shift into over drive with it's yellow journalism. It's going to speed up it's own failing and good riddance.
to be fair, I feel like objectivism in journalism is an ideal that has never historically been achieved, like everyone in a country never getting a horrible disease or never been poor at least at some point, or how when we die we go to heaven if we're good.

Journalism ceased to exist when the greedy faggots in charge grew so desperate to have cocks in their mouths they abandoned all pretense of seeking and releasing information for the sake of getting the highest ratings or the most likes on facebook. That's what the Trump hatewagon is all about, really : bashing Trump is trendy and it makes people like the dildo-wielding cunts of Berkley press the like button, so they'll keep bashing him. And if he doesn't do anything, they'll just make it up or grossly exaggerate it. Gotta farm those goddamn likes !
There's also the fact that the medias tried their damnedest to get Clinton elected because they had chosen her and not Trump, and so Trump's victory was a massive blow to their collective ego. That's secondary these days. When news was motivated by the profit made on the news itself, you could at least adjust for that when watching it.
However, most "news" organizations these days are just tiny appendages of enormous multinational conglomerates. Whether they make or lose money is of almost no consequence to the larger entity that controls them. However, the ability to mold public perception is of great importance to their owners. The most obvious example would be when the overarching owner is reliant on military contracts.
The bottom line from starting a war is huge profit if you're Lockheed Martin or Raytheon or General Dynamics or Northrop Grumman or any of a number of huge names, even more generic names like General Electric. So it's no wonder that any time any presidential administration wants to start a war, they have an army of cheerleaders in the media for it, no matter how dumb an idea it is. Throw in enough rah-rah bullshit and you'd get a majority in Congress to support war on some country they never even heard of a week ago.
And this goes for either party's dumb military adventures. Vote Democratic, get a war. Vote Republican, get a war. You think you have a choice between the two screaming heads you see yelling at each other during the bullshit election, but no matter which of those morons you pick, you're going to get a war. You've just picked the clown face you get to stare at for the next fucking eight years. Congratulations.
