Microsoft’s Xbox is a terrible console that nobody should ever buy. Ever. Under any circumstances. It’s technologically inferior to other consoles, prone to failures, overpriced, and underfeatured. And let’s not forget the parent company, Microsoft. Why would you buy a product from a company known for their terrible customer service and general poor quality? Microsoft isn’t exactly a reputable hardware company, and they never seem to make their customers happy with any products, so do you really think Xbox will be an exception? Buy a Wii or a PlayStation. Leave game consoles to the experts, not money hungry, heartless monopolies that repeatedly fail to make the public happy. Or better yet, buy a computer. You’ll be glad you did.
No, I don’t own an Xbox, never have and never will. No, I don’t like Xbox. No, Xbox’s graphics/gameplay do not impress me, PlayStation blows it away. Xbox Live is overrated and a gigantic waste of money. Why does Microsoft insist on charging you for access to something that others don’t? Why would a software company decide to jump in the game console market? My guess is because Microsoft is just after another market to try to dominate by sheer quantity, because we all know Microsoft can’t do quality. Xbox is widely known to have reliability problems. RROD and disc read errors are common. What kind of quality is that? And have you ever called their tech support? Its just awful, but don’t take my word for it, read through the comments and see for yourself.
Why would they care about you and how you feel? They know damn well that you’re going to keep paying for Live. They know you’re going to keep buying games. I know you’re going to. You know you’re going to. And why? Because you’re ignorant to the competition and have no idea just how much better your other options are. Try out owning a PlayStation or even a Wii, and then honestly tell me why Xbox is so great. You just cant, because the other options are so much better in every way. Sony has been doing what they do for a long time, they know what they’re doing. And Nintendo has been making games since before most Xbox players were born.
But of course they don’t care. But then again, why would they? They already have your money. They have no reason to impress you or do anything for you. It’s sad that they would completely fuck over their own user base, and it’s even sadder than you continue to let them. I skipped PS2 as I had played Halo and was in love with the fact that you had no gimmicks other than having to buy a remote sensor. It came with everything that you had to buy for PS2 in one package. The XBL was just a platform for straight pop in a game and play. That is where you fucked up Microsoft. Should have kept it as the pretty pearl that it was. Due to your shitty support, your shitty consoles and you trying to bank in on every fucking thing, all the while running the actual service into the ground, you have convinced me to go to the PC and stay away from consoles all together( and I will not send money your direction on PC either. Linux with a custom build PC I just built. (I’ll program and mod my own shit ).
I will now go to Steam, and bring all my friends with me as well as slander your shitty community and system, and I have a ton of friends. 14 years of dedicated money flow from me just stopped because of your greed.
