For those of you not in the know, Simple English Wikipedia is an edition of the website, launched in 2003, and aimed at "people with different needs, such as students, children, adults with learning disabilities and people who are trying to learn English". It only has a vocabulary of about 2,000 common words, patterned after Basic English. Have a look, and laugh, my friends.

Meh, I'm fine with the simple English wiki. It has an audience and doesn't appear to be doing any harm. Not sure what I'd be laughing at.

I know we make fun of exceptional individuals on this site but usually they've done something worthy of scorn. Simple English wiki has not done anything afaik.
