I try not to talk about that stuff because honestly, talking about it here is just going to get people here laughing at me. But you’re kind of saying the same thing that the furries told me, when I complained about the gay dudes who kept trying to get me into the sack, forcibly if needed. “Oh that just doesn’t happen“. “I think your misreading the situation“.

It’s hard to misread a guy telling you “I’m going to get you to Further Confusion, so I can bend you over the bed kicking and screaming and show you the joys of penetration.“

SonicFox himself seems quite innocent, But honestly, miffed? It is a sore spot, and touching a nerve, with me when anything that tries to normalize this shit comes up. I’ve seen furries, I know Furries, and trust me, there are no good furries.

The only chimpouts I’ve seen are the people talking about him, not SonicFox himself. Seriously, everybody taking him for being more than a mildly obnoxious esports player is just laughable. Just because he’s popular doesn’t mean that he’s immediately suspicious.

I’d also comment on some of the things @billydero said about furries and his experiences, because I’ve had some similar ones. I’ve been hit on and sexually harrassed by a faggot who said he was “trolling” me before. I’ve said harmless things that have gotten me kicked out of servers. I’ve even found some faggot claiming to be for gay rights defending the dude who shot up the gay bar in Orlando because “he was gay and oppressed.” I’ve met a pedophile in person maybe a year before it came out he was downloading CP. I’ve had awful experiences with this community. Am I distrustful of most furries? Yes. Am I gonna spaz our when they’re mentioned? Not really. Communities in general rub me the wrong way, so the furry community is really no different in that way. The main thing that makes it different is that it has a bunch of infected sores that people put band-aids on without bothering to put antibiotic ointment on it so that it actually heals. At this point, I mostly “stay” to watch drama and hang with a few friends I’ve met that aren’t shit. The fandom as a general group can go fuck itself.

Oh, you're absolutely right. I hadn't even thought about that, though, I suppose anime-style violence is less concerning than overt sexual content when it comes to content you're sharing on Twitter.

Unfortunately, as we all know, the furry fandom has a warped sense of what is and what isn't "sexual".

SonicFox pretty frequently gives disclaimers that he posts furry porn and that he's not a minor-friendly account. His pinned tweet typically contains some manner of warning about how often he likes NSFW content -- I think it's temporarily changed for recent events.

It's his personal twitter, not a business account, and the guy can do what he wants. If it were a business account, and if he didn't post disclaimers and warnings, then maybe you could have a concrete claim.

The only games I can think of that he doesn't play - and this is based off of what I've read - is Tekken and Street Fighter because Tekken is too hard for him and he gave up. Ah, okay. I actually had no idea. I wasn't personally trying to pin him as any sort of person, just noting that the Gab crowd is trying really, really hard to demonize him for his comments at the VGAs.
