The only thing that'll really reverse anything is something internal growing for a push to out these people and be more considerate to who the fandom keeps as company.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon, so I wouldn't hold your breath. The furry fandom is ripe with egotism, narcissism, and many other terrible attributes. Over time, I've noticed furries getting more vigorous with their actions and personal beliefs. I'd say the fandom has accelerated regressively more in the past several years. This could be a sign of the fandom collapsing, or something else, who knows! Either way, it will be hilarious to watch the fandom burn in its own incompetence.

One of the major issues with furries is how overly excepting they are. This also explains why many of them can be easily manipulated. Pedophilia and zoophilia are out of control, and most likely damaged the fandom beyond repair. I've been observing the fandom for over a decade, and believe me when I say the furry fandom has gotten more out of line. I dare say it, I thought bronies were the freaky ones.

Honestly the bronies nowadays are pretty quiet and subdued, keep to themselves and shit. The reason why no one sees as much from them nowadays is because there aren't as many extremely vocal retards. Really, the only notable spergy Brony I can think of nowadays is Chris-Chan, but you could apply that to literally anything he's gotten his autistic eyes on.

That being said, I've been around the fandom for a long fucking time and I'm just really fed up and grossed out anymore. There have always been problems of all different sorts but things are worse than ever. There's a million different angles that can be analyzed about it, I've got some that I've really latched onto, but I just can't look at this fandom as something wholly good or even benign anymore. Yeah, there's still some good in it if you surround yourself with the -extremely- rare good people, like individuals that don't necessarily fit into any of the specific niches, but on the whole, the fandom itself is fucked. The social dynamics in it are so warped that it attracts some of the worst people you can imagine and enshrines them. I can't deal with that shit anymore.

I cannot tell you how much I absolutely despise this type. God they are absolutely insufferable in the gay men's community. Like, poly works for some people, but for it to work you have to have well developed communication skills, know yourself *very* well, and be able to accept the the cons that come with the pros of multiple romantic and sexual relationship strings.

But most of the time, and I do mean most, it's gross, dumpy gay geeks who have absolutely no idea how to navigate grown-ass adult relationships and simply start seeking new partners when one relationship isn't like their fantasy ideal, but they're too scared, immature, or a straight up low-key emotional abuser to break off a relationship. These are the kind of men who cannot exist outside of a relationship, they can't fend for themselves because of immaturity. In my experience, there's also a degree of narcissism attached to it. You usually get one or two guys who can hold down jobs and end up supporting the equivalent of human housepets as "poly partners". It's fucking pathetic.

The average gay male furry isn't self aware or responsible enough to navigate healthy sexuality and kink beyond the length of their own dick. It all comes down to "this is my kink so I'm entitled to indulge every permutation of it because that's sex positivity!"

I hope this absolutely destroys these guys' delusions of being the next popular sex party people in the con circuit.

At first I thought it was a bondage thing gone wrong, but looking at the blisters on the wrists, he may have dipped his hands in liquid nitrogen. Though I haven't confirmed personally, the story on facebook was he was using dry ice to remedy his arthritis and fell asleep. Sounds like bullshit to me though.
He also posted an unnervingly calm video on Twitter with his bandaged ping pong paddle hands saying he's that he's still gonna make it to con.
