Sustained Denial of Service attacks. Paid for botnet. Service will continue to be disrupted until I can contact other providers and arrange a fix. Sister services to the forum will have longer downtime. There's still ongoing service-level attacks which are causing intermittent errors and general slowness.
Not to mention that wearing masks of any kind is currently being suggested due to folk saying that people are being recorded and possibly ID'd. You'd think furries would be all over that opportunity.

It's been said countless times previously, but it's absolutely ironic that the fandom that's build on escapism and tolerance (allegedly) is so quick to be so intolerant towards others that have different opinions, or even worse: desire politics-free escapism.
That's not surprising considering the majority of furries are fucking crazy. I know quite a bit of furs but the amount I consider actual friends and trust them with something is how many I can count on one hand.

Some of them also have positions at tech companies such as Google or Github. They don't just have positions in activist groups, they even are employees at the companies that want to censor you online.
We're finally witnessing the end result of what happened when the furry fandom became hyper political post RMFC. You have to not only agree with the political issue of the month, but you have to shout it as loud as possible. If you don't complain loud enough in the right manner or even remain silent/oppose it, you'd get unpersoned. In a way it's just like the real communism rose emojis love.
So the story with Pillowfort is that it was supposed to be Tumblr 2.0 but with hookers and blow. Furries (and a bunch of people from that side of the internet) see classic Tumblr as 2000s and even early 2010s 4chan: as an internet goldmine. Even some Tumblr refugees to Twitter still post old jpegged Tumblr screencaps of funny moments in the same way people post imageboard story screencaps. Then there was art tagging being better than it is on Twitter by a longshot.
Despite this Pillowfort has been a paysite. You either need to pay $5 or find a invite key. It's also been in development since at least 2015, when the thread on it here was made. Before the porn ban Pillowfort was essentially Tumblr's Gab or Mastodon. Tumblr's porn ban essentially killing the site caused some renewed interest in Pillowfort. With Twitter becoming a toxic shithole of "confirm or get doxed and expelled from college" many online artists are having to take a "mental health break" since they really don't like being pressured into shouting about the political issue of the week. Unsurprisingly they're going to go to a site that reminds them of the good old days, while others went to Newgrounds.
I'm not surprised if that was the final push to get artists off a site that had compressed images and no tags whatsoever.

At this point in the game, you'd think furries would be more thoughtful in what they put out there.
It's almost like the fandom attracts a large number of damaged goods who never grew out of high school. Worse still, these same damaged goods now try to recreate high school with them as the bully or the jock. This is the end result of that.
