People are bitching and trying to delegitimize his victory because the EVO staff took way too much time deciding on a rule regarding switching places (which apparently he was entitled to, and which he got in the end), crying a salty river and saying he cheated by breaking the other dude's momentum.
Yea but EVO is a convention that is built on salt, thrives on salt, it was born from a salty vagina.

Sonicfox is a really level headed guy from what I've seen. The only thing that's always bugged me was the fursuit but other than that, he's nowhere near the levels of faggotry and toxicity that most furries are. They're just pissed off and mad a furry beat out everyone to be essentially the King of Fighters.

SonicFox is like the opposite of a lot of cows, both in the furry fandom and the FGC. He might be eccentric (like wearing fursuit heads to tourneys) but he doesn't give a shit when he's winning tournaments. Plus, it's better to be popular for something that gets you noticed outside of the fandom than to be some drama queen who's only popular along a handful of furries.
I heard not long ago he went to some furry con's game room and started wrecking everyone there, as everyone wanted to 1v1 him because of his success in the FGC.
I don't understand where any of you are coming from. I've exposed myself to his lovely Twitter a few times, and including both willing and unwilling sights of his monkeying around, he's exactly as bad as any furry with a drop of non-furry fame.
Going between furry-cow threads on here, the average vibe is always how they're superior by commenting on meta-shit about the fandom like how cringy furries are, only to turn on their paws to act furry trash the same, which he repeatedly does as well. He straight up told people not to check his likes because it's full of porn, obviously hoping they would. Your average furry has 2-3 different accounts for sfw/nsfw/whatever tweeting. There's no excuse as to why he shouldn't limit his sperging to a non-professional Twitter.

"Oh yeah but he play good and doesnt afraid" etc., as if that dismisses the fact he's a literal professional and still acts like a child. At least his fursuit is relatively new and probably washed, unlike that disgusting hat he wore for ages.

People are defending him mostly because he's not an autist, a drama THOT, or fucking weird. I think people here expect his shit to be full of porn since he's openly gay and a furry. Plus on twitter, you can indeed block these things from showing up like blocking retweets or certain keywords which is probably what a few people do. You can be a chill person and like furry porn they aren't polar opposites like people try to force.

I haven't heard much of this guy but he beat a load of people in an intense game in a fursuit, and I think that's hilarious, and a feat. Those things are like walking ovens, nigga should be tender crisp from the heat now, but instead he won.
Wasn't it at an EVO where DSP Came in like 3rd or 4th on a shitty version of Street Fighter, leading to him bragging about it, and loads of salt?
