Future of WIZ DUM GUN - Should (Can) Deagle Nation Continue? -

We need some kind of resolution with Operation WuPocalype, and also if Tyce and Jace are hanging out together again to do Dank Swords, that needs to be explained.

Clarifying what I said earlier, I truly want DN to continue in full force and I'd do anything to see that happen.

But January has a lot of potential too, his character seems like he's fit for topical responses to current events and is something you could shitpost while you're bored with, and when there's something going on you could dress up and report the news and that kinda stuff. It seems like the perfect companion to DN.

this doesn't actually mean im going to listen to this poll whatsoever but tell me which direction this train is going because i've never planned any of this ahead more than a week or put any thought into it, so now I have to come up with something entirely different to do with my free time... if you've been following WIZ DUM GUN for the last week, you'll see i've done a few little experiments trying to figure out what is still fun to play around with and what is not. Jace is an amazing character and to let him simply fall away would be quite a shame. The final stream essentially proved that although we all know Jace is fake, it's still a good show to watch.

Taking Jace in new directions can help keep the magic alive. Perhaps the whole stream-and-a-Twitter thing isn't as workable anymore, but there's new places he can go and stay funny. I went to go see American Sniper the other day and thought it would be a great idea to have Jace (with Eli or Tyce even) do MST3K-style commentary on war movies. Or to have Tyce read the news once a month and rant about how skeletons aren't black. Think along the lines of that.

If you want your next project to be successful you have to abandoned Deagle Nation completely. You have to completely renounce it and seek forgiveness. It would be best if you stopped posting (under your current name). You should strive to have all Deagle Nation content deleted and go to war with the War Library to take all unrealistic content offline (obviously it will stay archived by hundreds of fans). Actually, it's in your best interest to throw this entire community under the bus to save the innocent princesses. Everyone hated Andy Kaufman when he was alive but everyone loves him now.

However, as a parkour fan I would love to see you livestream Project 60 and stuff like that. It'd be cool to let #Tyce branch out on his own and give him full creative freedom.

Note: everyone is pressing 2 on this post, but I'm a true Deagle Nation fan. I loved everything Jace put out, and I want to see more in the future. However i'm also thinking of the best way to navigate the ruse cruise as a fan of absurdist comedy. It's time you trannies did the same.

Jace is a fun character to watch and i'll be tuned in to whatever the future holds, but I believe the Commander (Jan) has the ability to take things to a higher level. In order to get there he'll need to leave Deagle Nation behind. It'll all still be here for the retrospect.

I don't think the Deagle Nation "canon" can really continue, but the characters and the running jokes are still funny. Things like Dank Swordz or the game and film commentaries others have mentioned keep the laughs alive while avoiding keeping a dead premise on life support. Option 2 seems like the best solution.

I voted for option five "abandon DN itself but continue to fuck with people in similar fashion" and anybody with an IQ over 37 would do the same. You can't have "best of both worlds" in this scenario.

I think plenty of us want to see more dank swordz. That's one I know a lot of people were upset that it never played out

I followed Ghost/TCR for several years and even after people figured out he was fake it never stopped the show from being entertaining as hell. People tuned in for his rants, rage and shooting down the really shitty trolls who called in.

One thing he managed to pull off fantastically was being "in" on the whole thing and pulling off inside jokes with the fans, but still never breaking character. When people called in and said "I know you're a fake" or something like that he'd play up the sensationalism and fly off the handle at them for daring to suggest that. It's hard to describe, if you listened in on his 2012 stuff you'd get what I mean.

I'd like to see some conclusion to the currently planned plotline and where that was headed at the very least. My ideal outcome would be wrapping up the Eli in Canada stuff and then maybe follow up with a short film that brings some closure to the characters (i.e. Jace goes to a mental hospital or something, Tyce finally gets to Ferguson, etc...).

I'd love to see Deagle Nation continue as it was. I'd always watched not really caring whether it was real or not because in the end it was incredibly entertaining. The characters you've built, as others have said, seemed to keep growing and evolving and their stories were legitimately compelling. I think continuing could work with never acknowledge that this thing was a hoax, even though people know it is. If you still did call-ins I'm sure you'd get people playing their roles, because its fun. With the knowledge out there that this isn't totally real, it could open up to more ambitious endeavors for DN as well.

Also, I'm sure there's still people that would come in fresh to the whole thing and believe its real. At least as long as you don't leave the evidence that it isn't out in the open.

On the other hand, I'd like to see what else you've got brewing. I don't want you to feel constrained to just DN. The January stuff seems like it could be great, but with continuing DN I don't know how much people would really buy into it and think you're really trying to repent. Unless, I suppose, you had January mention something saying you'll continue to parody gamebros or whatever. I dunno.

Whatever you decide to do, I'll be following as I'm sure many others here will too. I'd just be sad to see Jace and Co. disappear completely.

I personally still got some laughs from last live stream where you and Tyce roleplayed as your characters after the reveal. I think Deagle Nation could still work if you kept it going in a Borat-Style way.
