According to another member on here, can't remember who right now, mentioned that Chris is scheduled to have another court trial some time in June. The trial is to see if Chris actually has changed for the better. If he has, then the October incident will only be a misdemeanor. If he hasn't, then the incident will be a felony.

So Christorians, want to take a guess on the outcome of this?

I thought the factual consensus here was that Chris would pretty much skate. The charges will be reduced and he'll essentially get off scot free. He hasn't been in trouble with the law, he did "work" at his church, and it can be assumed Chris saw a counselor once or twice as well.

It won't be a trial. It will be a simple hearing. If he has fulfilled the terms of his court order, he will be done with this current ordeal. In Chris's mind, it will all be over, and he will very probably rewrite history and declare that he won against Snyder. What he doesn't realize is that he now has 2 1/2 strikes in the eyes of the legal system. If he slips up again, he's got a record, and there will almost certainly be no leniency. And I simply cannot picture Chris avoiding a run-in with authorities in the long run. I realize he fears and hates authority figures now, but he's going to bumble into something sooner or later and really pay the price for it.

Based on him mostly staying out of trouble, meeting the requirements of his sentence, and avoiding Michael Snyder, I'm guessing the misdemeanor's going to stick.

The two above pretty much cover it. Basically the judge checks in and sees what there is. Unless Chris screwed up he should be fine.

Can't say Chris has changed for the better. But he hasn't really caused any harm to himself or any one else, so maybe a misdemeanor will be justified.

The Judge would be happier if Chris didn't do just the bare minimum, but he's completed his probation. So I agree with Katsu.

So has Chris learned anything from this ordeal? I don't mean anything profound but perhaps something small and obvious to everyone else. Maybe DON'T tard rage on a police officer? Don't eat dimes? Fire bad? Anything would be fine.

Next time don't pull over when a cop tells you to, and try to escape instead.

I think Chris'll be fine unless he spouts out another "Snyder doesn't deserve a red cent!" line. He just needs to keep his cool. Does anyone know if Robert Bell will be attending the hearing along with Chris, or is Bell pretty much out of the picture now?

For a minute I thought this was going to be a thread on how chris is going to get himself in trouble next time. I was going to say hitting the owner of that new lego hangout with his car.

Naw, chris is going to get away with no lasting consequences. Again.

The court rules the Game Place assault as a misdemeanor, Chris declares victory over Michael Snyder and the Trolls and resumes his life for about a month before he either gets banned from McDonald's and/or arrested for sexual harassment of another unfortunate gal-not-quite-his-pal

This. It'll be an in-and-out hearing unless Chris gets all Chris on us. He had so much trouble swallowing his ego last time, he might not be able to resist the urge to taunt Snyder or the judge. OTOH, after his last outburst (which could have screwed over everyone) I'm thinking Barb and possibly Bell have been coaching Chris extra hard on not tarding in court.

That'll work.

Can't speak for anyone but I doubt it. Again this is just a simple hearing not the final decision like last time. Especially since, from what I can tell, not many people here live near Charlottesville.

We got lucky last time. At every hearing leading up to the big one, tons of people on the forums said they were going to go, take pictures, yell JULAY, etc., but when the actual court dates rolled around, not a damn person went and all we had to go on were online court reports. The fact that Cyan and Indigo went to the trial on the day that actually mattered was, for all of us, just incredible fortune.

So again, the rule of the day will be "Pics or it didn't happen".

My records are showing there will be seven to eight of them at the hearing. A few may drop off.
