What makes these people think that a few schmucks over at Viacom would feel threatened by them?

Gotta give Nayolfa a few points for honesty here.

Holy shit! Somebody working on GA actually admitted it has absolutely no future as a TV series?
If this is what qualifies as "high quality animation" nowadays, then I'm almost happy that I haven't really watched TV in years now.
I mean... seriously now? "High quality animation?"
I don't think any of these people witnessed Batman: The Animated Series.
To the show's credit, the artwork is good and the animation flows smoothly. It seems as though everybody involved (with the exception of some voice actors) have the talent needed to create a good show.
They're only saying that because of the lack of 2D animation these days.![]()

Maybe my biased because of my personal tastes but i think the animations a little sub par for what he wants.
but we do agree on Enter's general lack of talent.
Beavis And Butthead had poor animation as well. Not to mention the Williams Street cartoons.
The funny thing is that before Matt Groening created The Simpsons and got it on tv his job was writing a comic strip, as well as various minimum wage jobs and uncredited/freelance writing.
"Life In Hell" was one of the most successful indie comic strips ever. It ran in pretty much every US city's alternative weekly newspaper. The collections, particularly Love Is Hell, sold really well.
That's why the producers of "The Tracey Ullmann Show" contacted Groening to see if he wanted to make animated shorts for the show. He did, and the shorts spun off into their own megaphenomenon.
I think what Nayolfa should have said is that they have no successful professional or commercial work now or in their backgrounds. It makes sense; they don't have any credibility to making quality, so that would mean that no one would immediately fund their project and possibly lose money off of it.What I meant was that Matt didn't have animation experience before he was asked to create animation for a network. Nayolfa claimed that a network wouldn't accept the show because none of the people involved have any experience in animation, so he claimed that no matter how good the pilot is it will be rejected.
two words. Alien armsTo the show's credit, the artwork is good.
