She's so desperate to appear insane but not so far gone people write her every move off as psychotic. It isn't entirely clear whether this was a solo video or an in person collaboration with Curtis Lepore. What is clear is that Jessi sat down with Lepore at some stage in 2016. She allegedly claims she felt sorry for Lepore and forgave him. The video was supposedly titled 'I was raped and it's okay' - unfortunately, the source for this is one of those teen girl gossip forums where no one bothers to archive.

I found the Tweet referencing a deleted video with her ex, so their claims may hold some truth, but Jessi has numerous ex partners. There is some doubt in my mind as to the validity of the claims made. Of note, Jessi references videos, plural, whilst the source above mentions one stand alone video with Lepore. Between January 2016 and April 2016, Jessi posted several videos with, or mentioning, an ex. Some are now private and cannot be viewed on her channel. With all of this information in mind, we can make a speculative guess that - if it existed - the Lepore video was posted somewhere between Jan - April 2016; after Gabbie's own highly criticised association with Lepore.

Essentially, it seems that Jessi has been somewhat inconsistent in regards to her feelings towards her rapist. It seems somewhat hypocritical of her to criticise Gabbie for her continued association with Lepore if Jessie herself was happy to collaborate with him and offer forgiveness. Of course, without seeing the video, we can only speculate on the contents.

However, Jessi did publicly forgive Lepore on another occasion - in this video posted in October 2014. Again, she seemed conflicted, but ultimately concluded that she had forgiven Lepore. So, it isn't entirely out of the question that the 2016 video may have existed too. Jessi forgiving Lepore is certainly on the table which gives Gabbie some room to defend herself - depending on your perspective.

Hypocrisy is likely the way Gabbie is going to spin it if this is the 'evidence' she is talking about against Jessi - particularly if it was an in person collaboration. And it would be hypocritical to spend six years publicly berating Gabbie for associating with Lepore in person if Jessi herself had done the same and covered her tracks when it backfired.

There is a distinct difference between personal forgiveness and making peace with the hand you've been deal privately, and between using your own rapist as clickbait. If it was an in person collaboration then I will forever find Jessi's black and white sobbing montage the most laughable shit I've ever watched- because it is hypocritical and it sounds like there was no sign of that in 2016. The I was raped card only gets you so far.

But I'll agree that Gabbie was motivated, as she always is, by a desire for approval from a man she deemed successful. Whether Jessi had publicly forgiven Lepore or not, Gabbie would have continued her association. Gabbie appeared on Genius to discuss her song Monster. Completely unwarranted, she belted a few lines. Predictably, it sounded fucking awful. This became a meme - initially, Gabbie took it in good humour.

Her singing voice is bad, though I do believe that the Genius video was poorly edited. The audio quality in the awkward screech is noticeably different from the rest of the audio recording. It sounds like the mic is farther away and has a sort of reverb/echo that one would expect from a set/camera mic rather than the boom mic she had been singing into. That being said, even if she hadn't peaked the boom mic I doubt it would make her voice sound any better, and while I think Genius fucked up with poor editing, I doubt it was done out of anything other than incompetence.

Honestly, I think the edit was the best they could do with the material they were given. There's only so much that can be done in an edit and if the audio is peaking then it is essentially unusable. Cutting to the camera audio for that one word does make it sound worse, but really - what choice did they have? If they'd used the camera audio throughout just for consistency, the entire video would have sounded like that. The only real solution would have been to go for a second take - but fuck Gabbie, it was funny. I don't blame them for not wanting to hear it again. Either way it's delusional of her to suggest they sabotaged her deliberately, they were working with the shit she gave them.

TL;DW - Trisha and Gabbie were friendly in 2016. They met once or twice through mutual friends. Trisha felt like Gabbie ignored her or something equally trivial on those occasions. However, they did text back and forth for a few years - it seems like polite colleague shit rather than any deep connection to me, but interpretations may vary.

Trisha is quite similar to Gabbie in some ways - she's an old school attention seeker. She really went hard by claiming to have every mental illness under the sun when being mentally ill was cool and quirky for a few years - but in reality Trisha most likely just has BPD and moderate retardation from FAS. Gabbie probably has some kind of personality disorder. She's certainly trying to pretend she has a serious psychotic mental illness to smooth this whole thing over but it screams of borderline and narcissism. That podcast with Trisha was a set up - this show of friendliness was an act without a doubt. They both came across as insincere, but there's no way Gabbie didn't intend to make this series when she asked Trisha to take part in the podcast. She clearly hoped to get something out of Trisha.
