I honestly don't really understand what his videos are about. I mean I know they're supposed to teach people about cultural influences in games, but I just don't understand what he's going for, if that makes sense. Most of the things he covers are fairly blatant and well known, or are a complete shot in the dark when it comes to connecting them to the game. I guess I can appreciate the information but really I just don't see the appeal of making a whole video pointing out references in games.

There's a lot of people on the internet that get a kick out of just having their personal interests noted or validated, especially in gaming or anime social circles. You could argue it's why in-jokes exist. Reference humour in general has also made up a lot of peoples' comedy tastes over the past ten, fifteen years. See: Family Guy and South Park.

You would think he would have at least a bit of knowledge about Japan after working there for a bit. I guess being a major weeb he probably just went to Akihabara and did other stupid weeb shit while making no effort to meet any Japanese people or actually take in some of the culture. Also something to keep in mind it takes basically no skill to teach English in Japan. Anyone with a college degree in literally anything can get hired as an English teacher since they want them so badly, too bad a lot of them are lazy weebs that suck at teaching, have poor social skills and probably can't speak Japanese beyond some of the very basic phrases. Believe me, I've heard from some Japanese people about how shitty the English teachers from the US are, and they won't explain something in Japanese if the students can't understand it, because they don't know how.

GaijinGoomba is a weeaboo piece of shit, but the thing is, he is making money online, regardless of how horrendous his content may be, and teaching English in Japan, likely respected and banging decent women just because he is White despite his shortcomings. Oh I'm sorry for that but this guy went from lolcow to loser in no time at all. Yes, he's fat, nerdy and has horrible fashion sense. Guess what? I knew a guy like that in Japan who had three girlfriends, one of which was way out of his league so I'm still trying to figure that one out. Point is he was also a nice guy, funny, knew how to speak and wasn't averse to putting himself out there and trying to improve his appearance.

I've seen foreign guys that are absolute trolls get with some hot Japanese tail. Like it or not these guys, at least in Japan, had game. Just shows that Goomba here didn't.

Oh man, nice to see a GG thread here. I've always said he's a hidden lolcow because of how much of a weeb he is. It's the same thing with these JET people and I think the program has been trying to cut back on its favoritism towards white people because of how many people who want to 'experience japanese culture kawaii desu ne' have been slipping through.

I think the weirdest thing is his relationship with his wife. Go to his twitter and you can see how possessive he is of her. I don't think he posts every livestream but many have been him just ignoring the other people and jut talking about how hot his wife is or about her boobs. It's so strange that she took on the goombah thing herself. This can't be a coincidence of 'what are the chances?', she probably did it to latch onto his weeb fame.

Like no shit, it's a chicken. Of course they were inspired by real life animals. Her entire show is a huge 'duh' or 'who cares', most likely because she can't have her own separate persona in doing her own gaming channel.
