So, most of the threads here started to make fun of a subculture and ended up being gradually co-opted by that subculture and turned into a circlejerk, requiring off-topic threads to be made elsewhere to contain the autism. GamerGate is no different, except it became so full of pro-gamergaters we basically just shuffled the entire thread to offtopic and gave up on any lolcow talk. I suggest we revise that.

GamerGate is a movement where some vidya magazines called manbabies names and they decided it was the most egregious breach of ethics ever to happen and have been caterwauling about it non-stop for the past 8 or 9 fucking months like spastic babies. Their opponents, dubbed "anti-gamergaters" are typically ridiculous SJW harridans an order of magnitude worse than the gamergaters, but we have more than enough places already to talk about how much they suck.

For now, let's laugh at the pro-gamergaters, and what massive spergs they are to care about something as dumb as 'ethics in vidya gaems' enough to tantrum about it for 10 straight months.

As you can see from his current feed, it's nothing but gamergate sperging. I'm pretty neutral on Gamergate. I've always summed it up like this: A bunch of ugly cows and trannies make shitty games, then sleep with people to get good reviews for their shitty games, and make asses out of themselves on Twitter. Meanwhile, a bunch of whiny manchildren bitch about "ethics in game journalism," when instead of following what these "game journalists" have to say, they could just research the game by themselves and form their own opinions rather than just listening what some schmuck on the internet has to say. Gamefly's a wonderful service, and it's pretty cheap. Interested in a game, but not sure if you want to buy it? Use Gamefly! Of course, that's mainly for console games and not really applicable to indy games, but most of those have free versions that you could try out for yourself anyway.

Gamergate is one of those things where both sides are retarded, so there's no clear winner. It's like the classic and still applicable quote says: "Fighting online is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded."

That being said, I do lean more towards the "pro-Gamergate" side, mainly because the opposition seems to be made up of scumbags like Phil Fish, Zoe Quinn, Peter Coffin, Anita Sarkeesian, Jonathan McIntosh, and Brianna Wu.

I think one of my favorite GG moments was when GG and KiA shit themselves with fear and rage when they finally learned about Jace's support for GG and how the commander was going to try and challenge Brianna Wu to an illegal street race while in the middle of a blizzard and then proceed to kill Wu while using Assassins Creed style parkour while screaming "GAMER JUSTICE!".

GG ether acted like this babbling "schizophrenic" stoner was actually going to succeed with his plan and sink their movment or that Jace was a Anti-GG made false flag meant to destroy their already "Stellar" reputation, but in the end all it did was show that GG was just as paranoid and pathetic like Wu, willing to latch on to anything to prove that they're being oppressed.

To be honest, the longer that this whole thing goes on, less and less "moderates"/normal people stick around because they have other, better things to do and worry about.
