He's not a "journalist", but damn does he write like one, and he was one of the guys whose work was getting shilled by the indie clique many years back when journos still had some modicum of influence. Just check the list of known idiots on this book alone:

Where most journos pretend to some greater position in life, Bogost is an actual professor at a Georgia university...if liberal arts and "media studies" is anything to be proud of, but hey, at least he has something approaching an ivory tower from which to speak authoritatively to the masses, something most journos would kill for nowadays.
