For me it’s mostly 2D platformers. Super Mario World, Yoshi’s Island, Yoshi’s New Island, and the original Sonic are the ones that come to mind. I can beat the original Puyo Puyo on Hardest too.

The first Spyro, NOLF, Soul Calibur II weapon master, and I'm really close on Burnout 3 and Revenge but fuck those crash events

Oh, and Timesplitters 2

Mostly the games that give you a reward or something for 100% completing it. Although I have done 100% runs on some games because I had time to waste like Yakuza 0 or New Vegas

Half-life 2 and Portal. The only two games that I know better than the back of my hand. However they mainly bore me now so when I decide to have a go at HL2 in particular it just becomes a grind because I know exactly what and how it's all going to play out.

When I was a kid, my first games I completed 100% were the Spyro trilogy on PS1. Spyro 1 is still a casual good time and is fun to 100% in a binge sitting. (Though...I must pay my respects to Tree Tops, that level right there is a sudden rollercoaster of insanity and unintuitive level design)

Also Ratchet and Clank 1, 2, and 3 on PS2. Collected all the skill points and secret bolts and stuff and such. 3 was my favorite, such a joy to 100% and gain all day Insomniac Museum access without having to do a clock trick on the system.

I came super close to 100%ing the 2016 PS4 Ratchet and Clank but just got bored on grinding the weapon upgrades. Everything else is complete, just need to finish upgrading some weapons.

I always 100% crash bandicoot games when I play them and i 100% majora mask cause it's my favorite game. The most pain in the ass ones I've done are rayman legands and donkey Kong 64

I have 100% of achievements for Baba is You and Factorio, but of course both games have content that I haven’t done but aren’t measured by any completion metric.

Every Need For Speed game by blackbox.

Except Prostreet. I got like 70+ and then gave up. I fucking hated the fact that you had to pay for repairs.

It seems there are other people who 100%ed the Spyro trilogy. I'm currently working on the Pokémon gen 3 National Dex and gen 8 Dex. I had a platinum trophy for Minecraft before they added the updates so that ruined it. 😒

Risk of Rain, and I would have 100%d Terraria if it weren’t for that pesky 200 fishing achievement.

Rayman 2 - actually never completed it until yesterday. I've been told the PC version (the one I play) is in fact the hardest to complete so idk if that had something to do with it.

The only games I've ever truly 100%ed are Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. The former might not count because of things like the fact that I used a blue Yoshi to get through tubular. The original Wario Land might also count if you ignore the fact that I sometimes use the "press select 16 times to activate the debug mode" trick. And I recently got 100 points on every non-extra level of the original Yoshi's Island, which is something I never thought I would be able to do.
