I'm always kinda curious, what kind of gaming keyboards does everyone here have, if you have one?

I've been looking through keyboards to replace my Sidewinder and I wanted to try Cherry MX Clears. They're really rare so the only one I've been able to find that I like so far is the Code-104 keyboard.

I have a Razer Blackwidow Expert

I bought it since it's fairly no-nonsense and as an introduction to mechanicals. I also keep the green LED off because my computer and all of my peripherals have blue LEDs. I plan to get a Das keyboard once I get bored of it.

So far I like using it and it hasn't worn out yet like all of my rubberdomes did.

I have some kind of cheap asian garbage from Genius. And it only works under windows, in linux, some of the keys don't work right.

I've got a V2 keyboard with the MX Clears and light dampening, from the same maker:

It's got a better design than the Code if you ask me - no LED light-ups or nonsensical multimedia keys. I don't do any serious gaming with it, but it's a really nice keyboard.

You might want to pick up their switch tester before buying such an expensive keyboard though. It lets you test all 6 kinds of Cherry switches.

I already know what they feel like. I don't like Reds or Browns, Blues are too loud and Blacks are too heavy. I prefer Clears more than anything else. I also want the backlight on my keyboard due to how dark my roommate and I keep our room and I like having the volume changers and other multimedia keys on my keyboard. Efficiency when working on papers and in Matlab and Mathematica are priorities.

It's just like a gaming keyboard only it doesn't light up pretty colors.
