Which Karl used to frequent; it's not like they aren't essentially neighbors, and we've heard him providing background commentary on many of Ian's backyard videos.
Ian also seems to have a female cameraman at the range sometimes. I don't know if he gets his wife to help with footage sometimes, or if it's just one or more friends from the gun range he gets match footage from.
It would be one thing if he was just educating basic bitch liberals who don't know jack about firearms and pointing out that usually pro gun control politicians also don't know jack about firearms themselves and getting these types of people to at least adopt a pragmatic view on these issues. Personally owned firearms just tools that can be used to achieve their goals by force then disposed of for issued equipment by their benefactors, like a irregular militia being absorbed by a state into the military (similar to when the Viet Cong was rolled into the Vietnamese army and their personal weapons and equipment were turned in to the state for storage or disposal) .

It's a common retail thing all over, and I wouldn't be surprised. Make people think they're getting a deal while moving stock that isn't selling as well as hoped during a time where it's in demand.
