Listen, it was like 3 AM and I couldn't sleep, I thought Tumblrina drama would be a suitable bedtime story.
What else could ease restlessness than a tumblrite starting shit with another. In the end, it's boring to sift through after a while--perhaps sleep-inducing.

Speaking of that Roxy callout, the roxy-receipts blog pretty much said Roxy was a predatory male pretending to be trans to prey on people (archive) and then the person running it closed the blog after making a big whiny "I'm gonna delete this blog!!!!" post in which they used "y'all" (archive) which funnily enough was one of the things they called Roxy out for.

Y'all, they were probably poc, trans and a minor. So we can't hate on them uwu. I really do feel bad that roxy or w/e had been getting all that shit only for 3 months later everyone now knows it was for random bs.
Also the roxy callout reminded me of the bestiality callout post because most of the mods were still highschool students(this was mentioned by another mod after they left). I really don't think young teens should be running callout blogs

Teens need to stay on facebook, where their parents have facebook accounts following them. Minors can't go around without adult supervision. They get exposed to pornography, kinks, fictionkin, made up genders, black and white mentality, skewed politics, uncritical hatred of anything that isn't LGBT or POC, hating themselves for being white, misandry.
Teens should be worrying about cartoons, soap operas, skateboards, fashion and videogames. Not all this sociopolitcal crap and identity wars.
They should wait to be miserable until they hit age 21

My concern is that like religious cults preying on teenagers, tumblr takes normal alienated teens who might be gay or something and tries to troon them the fuck out and turn them into batshit crazy tumblrinas babbling about headmates, xirself genders, turning into a giant landwhale just for a fetish, and other crazy, anti-life shit.
It's like one of those monster generators in the Gauntlet arcade game that just spits out monsters until you destroy it.

You know, the problem is that the 'Tumblr is a cult' argument only really falls apart when you realise there's no sentient being controlling the 'cult' (which is why they viciously deny having a cult-like mentality to begin with)
You get sucked into that shit and think it's all well and good, you meet other people who agree and until you are faced with any different views you'll be comforted in this mess. There's no leader, there's no written rules. That's why one can't really accuse Tumblr of being a cult without sounding like a tinfoil hat conspirationnist.

A cult doesn't always have to have a clear cut leader. Sometimes they are just amorphous blobs of people that all adhere to the same view. It does not follow that all cults must have a leader because most do.
Tumblr isn't a cult. It's just another internet community with weird, insular politics. Cults typically aren't characterized by constant tard arguments between members with no agreed-upon "right" side.
The site's culture makes it absurdly easy to set up a cult of personality, though. Be an adult who says the right things and you'll get a thousand-strong army of dox-happy thirteen-year-olds.

So my mate just informed me about some Tumblr thing going on called Woody's Roundup.
Apparently, what happens when blogs get taken down after callouts is that these Woody people take their URLs and turn them into Toy Story roleplay blogs and just post a bunch of weird shit.
I looked them up in the Tumblr tags and now a bunch of folks are making callout posts directed at the Woodys in hopes that they will help take them down.
It's very bizarre, here's an example.
Apparently, what happens when blogs get taken down after callouts is that these Woody people take their URLs and turn them into Toy Story roleplay blogs and just post a bunch of weird shit.
