Ahh, not a huge deal but do any of you remember back in 2015, a blog named "theroleplayersburnbook" emerged out of nowhere? It was a blog consisting of anonymous rants calling out roleplayers by their urls and talking shit about them. Imagine the shitshow, because tumblr rp community is the official autistic breeding grounds. When this blog came out all of the rpers got triggered and a considerable amount of them stopped rping. Later, they started reporting the blog for harrassment or something... The blog finally got shut down but the reactions to it can still be seen on this tag/

I will put some archives if I find any.. The rants were mostly like "the mun of sonicsucksdick never replies to starters even though she begs for them all the time, she writes like she has mental deficiency" etc etc. Targeted for low self-esteem. But the thing with Tumblr's rp community is that they are cowards when it comes to being honest about their feelings. They avoid any kind of confrontation altogether so the fact that a blog like this had come to existence wasn't shocking.

In practice, I feel they could honestly be pretty useful. They could talk about actual problems i.e, 'Hey don't commission this person, they'll take your money then block you!" or "Hey, if you're underaged don't interact with this guy, he'll get really clingy and ask lots of personal questions if he finds out you're like 12 or something!" But of course they'll get used for dumb shit like ganging up on someone just because they didn't use the right pronouns or drew your favorite character anything smaller than XXXXXL.

This post is spot on but one minor nitpick its "In theory" rather than "In practice". Because in theory it could be "hey this person's a scammer" but what actually ends up happening it "I'm a big fucking baby who's upset with this person for disagreeing with me or making a joke that offended my delicate sensibilities".

I hated that firebends hoe, whatever her name is. Woman would repost and write callouts like there was no tomorrow, I don't know if she's still around, but most of her posts were garbage. She herself was a massive special snowflake who was guilty of 99% of what she harped on people for, think she ended up getting a "callout" herself.

Remember she basically tried to build a case against me alongside the rest of my former tumblr idiot group. Oh, the days of callouts, good times good times. You gotta love it when they call you out for saying "faggot" or "y'all".

I goddamn hate callout culture overall on tumblr, because they can basically dig up and manipulate old posts to read like theyre recent and use those in a case against another user, completely pull things from context, and otherwise manipulate their audiences. It's basically the tumblr version of "burn the witch" fake news, that breeds a toxic one sided mentality, "burn this bitch to the ground, because I'm the victim here"! Ugh, stop with your self pitying, you crusty and ugly little kids, you took time and effort to try and frame someone who isn't even harmful three quarters of the time because they "disrespected your pronouns", gimme a break.
