Fair enough. Considering Big Show goes through face and heel turns like tissues, I'm gonna assume it's gonna be a case of "You were a big meanie face at the Rumble, so I wanna feud with you now!"

Let down of a show. I was expecting more. The Kane-Bryan Casket Match was piss poor.

Most casket matches are, it is a very boring stipulation. And when the rivalry ending in it has been over done it becomes just meh.

I caught half of TNA's remix show this morning.
Had pop-up info on stuff, like "Soandso and suchandsuch have held the tag titles 5 times" "This is whatshisface's first world title defense".

The production values are still pretty cheap, but it feels like a taped live sporting event, and the continuity provided by the info is pretty cool.

And I caught Carlos Colon's Puerto Rican promotion (WWC). Looks like crap still. Like, below DTU and CMLL production values. Right around original ECW production. The match I caught had no audio, so it was just the announcers talking over it cold.
I paid far more attention to the bored woman in the front row who was leaning forward and unintentionally showing off her doubleplus cleavage. Oh, and Carlito has a moustache still.

It's turning into Rocky Maivia all over again.

Stone Cold broached that on his show. The difference though is that "DIE ROCKY DIE" Rocky Maivia didn't get World Title opportunities and it took The Rock years to get to a World Title opportunity. I just don't get why they are doing this. Reigns could be valuable for the IC or US titles and they could be valuable for him. It is ridiculous to say a guy who was laid up for months and who has yet to have a major singles feud is World Title ready.

I got that vibe as well from how Austin was talking, like about being in the gym a lot and stuff... Now what I am about to say is something I am certain is not correct, however it could be how things are explained one day through revisionist history:

Having Austin casually shit on him, having The Rock tweet support for ideas that Reigns may not be right, giving him everything even when fans clearly said "NO!" is the perfect way to create the company's top heel. The anatomy of the heel is that they succeed by going outside the bounds of equal competition and implement a foreign solution to obtain success. The support of the power structure in the WWE forcing him down our throats is the best way to create the uber-heel that transcends the wrestler as a two-dimensional character and brings them to 100% life. If Reigns cannot get over (which he won't in 2015 without there being a complete roller coaster ride) then he will have to be accepted as a heel and will likely be the in-ring manifestation of the Authority.

To be a good heel you need to be over as well. Do we want him to have heat, or go away heat. Can Roman spin around and become a heel character like cousin Dwayne? Who knows.

I don't see him getting true heel heat. The WWE probably thinkgs they have figured out a way to create it though in the 21st century.

Unless Daniel Bryan is gonna win at fast lane or some screwy finish where he doesn't win, Roman winning the Fastlane match is going to be an utter fucking disaster for WWE. If they had just kept them away from each other the Roman would have got the mixed response he has been getting. Now if he goes over Daniel, and even worse cleanly, its gonna be a bad night to be Vince at mania. Unless of course they are gonna turn Roman, then he might be the most "over" heel in a long time.
