Sammy Callihan just hacked his way into and out of a run in on impact

Hence the very next post I made after that was announced.
It could still be complete canceled, there's talks in the office about it being postponed until June, but that means the WWE will have prolong storylines for three months which I don't see happening. If they have to postpone, those Wrestlemania matches will be on television so they don't have to keep giving away PPV matches.

Good to see Impact finally pull the trigger on Callihan's NXT gimmick.

There's rumor going around that WWE is trying to get WM shut down for insurance reasons. WWE has to do everything within reason to have the show go on. The city of Tampa refused to shut it down, leading to a PR nightmare for Vince. Does he issue refunds to those unable to go (international fans)? Does he look like a money-hungry asshole for saying no refunds? So he moved it to the PC in Orlando.

The gamble is to have the city of Orlando shut down production simply because it is a large gathering of people in one area (the US roster alone for WWE is close to 150), and most are either wrestling on the card or there for support. Once the city shuts down day of the show, WWE will be forced to cancel outright, leading to an insurance payout. Of course the city could just let it go on as scheduled...

If the show goes on it'll be limited roster with up to eight matches (thank god). Plus as few personal as possible. Rest of the storyline feuds will probably be on television as Wrestlemania is supposed to end this years and start new ones. I feel sorry for NXT as the next few weeks wont have matches. It'll just be old footage and interviews.

I thought Dynamite was excellent tonight, considering the circumstances. Having non-performing wrestlers play surrogate audience was a good move. Kinda sad for the pops that could've been, though.
I thought the show was great. The wrestlers and personnel at ring side really made it, and they did enough jokes about it to lighten the mood.

MJF and Shawn Spears running gambling on the show, asking Tony, "You want in on this action, old man?" and Tony going for his wallet
Shawn Spears eating Chinese takeout.
Sammy Guevara singing Jericho's Judas song when he did his entrance because there was no crowd around to do it.
Orange Cassidy "on commentary."
Adam "Handswash" Page-Practicing Social Distancing Since November
Chris Jericho issuing a decree to ban "pumpkin headed dipshits" from attendance to keep them from distracting him by cheering for the jackasses in Elite.
The Matt Hardy drone thing and he's just in the rafters in this 99 percent empty arena doing goofy faces and the DELETE motion.
I think this was the funniest show they've done yet.

Matt Hardy couldn't have come along at a more opportune time, now AEW can get sucked into the vortex of the BROKEN realm and get even more mileage out of no crowd.

It’s definitely an interesting contrast between AEW doing their best to put on a great show in spite of the situation and WWE doing their bizarre, near zero-effort shows.

WWE tried to have a monopoly on indy stars, and still can't book them for shit lol Meanwhile, AEW keeps having great shows and matches, even without a crowd. CM Punk's words are still true like a decade later about Vince/HHH/Steph

WWE's business model has been "buy the popular guys so they can't help [promotion] get over" for decades.
