Per @asterios, Judge Ramos has just retired from the bench and the January 23rd hearing will be before a new judge who will have to be briefed on the case.

The case was so exceptional Ramos quit his career rather than talk to Landau again

I hope he's left behind good records of the proceedings. One thing I don't like about this is it's clear Ramos despised Landau on a personal level and was probably glaring at him like he was some kind of revolting insect whenever he spoke.
On the other hand, the record is very clear that Landau was incredibly out of line. I hope all this speaks for itself, but you never know who the new judge will be and what their predilections are. I doubt it's a complete newbie because it's the Commercial Division, which is pretty elite as New York state trial courts go.
I.e. their time is usually not wasted with bullshit like this and they're unlikely to be a huge fan of the guy responsible.

I have a feeling that people will remember this case for a while, so even if it takes two years for the case to finish I think there will still be sufficient interest for a livestream with Ramos.
I don't think it will happen.
I don't know what the rules are in New York, but I know some states have ethical guidelines that frown on judges and retired judges from doing this. Even after the case is done. California, for example. It's why Lance Ito has never given an interview on the OJ Simpson trial, despite the fact it happened over a million years ago, and he's been retired for a few years now.
Secondly, I don't think you'd really get much out of it anyway. The transcript is painfully clear as to the legal logic Ramos applied in dismissing this shit show. It's equally clear as to why he threatened Landau with contempt. There's not really much more he can add that he didn't say in open court. He's not gonna call into the Killstream and be like "LOL. Landau is a faggot."
Also, as terrible as he was on that case, he learned his lesson about publicity and court cases, and more or less did a quiet, competent job the rest of his career.

Whereas Ramos was already fortunate in that he went into this case with at least an inkling that internet drama is gay and dumb, and lolsuits are equally gay and dumb. If he had any doubts, I'd say Landau successfully relieved him of them. This is a man who probably is looking to stay as far away from dumb internet shit as much as he can. Appearance on a podcast is completely antithetical to that.
