Some small updates regarding the lawsuit:
-Asterios has until November to file a countersuit, but unlikely since he seems drained from the whole thing
-Every party pulled into the lawsuit can file an ethics complaint against Landau, so we'll see what happens with that
-The most interesting bit, Landau didn't come to Maddox. Maddox was told to come to Landau, most likely by someone he trusts.

I’m not sure where to ask this, and this suit is how I found out about Dick’s show; but do we have a thread on Chris the Kiwi?

Dick bought $300 worth of debt. He will collect that in a funny way worth $300, and any jokes on $30,000 would be repeats. Even if his Patreon is making a lot, why do you think he has $20k to burn buying bad debt?

Because Maddox can make the $300 thing go away any time he wants (if his mom had a good day at the slot machine), but he can't get out of a $30k debt without selling his remaining kidney. It's a whole other level of funny if you have a man's balls in your hand (figuratively speaking, there's nothing literal left) rather than just his pride. Heck, Dick already happily spent more than $30k of his Patreon bucks on it and only profited.

Anyway, it wasn't meant to be in the first place, since the legality of actions is barely relevant to court decisions, especially if it gives a judge additional work to defend his findings on appeal.
