Pillar of Salt George Takei - Salty Pissbaby Triggered by Trump's Existence

As you may know, a great deal of people in Hollywood lean to the left politically. As you may also know, our 45th and current president, Donald Trump, is one of the most, if not the most, polarizing political figures in US history. Hell, look no further than this very subforum to find examples of how much people hate the guy!

Then you have George Takei. I created my Tara Strong thread based on her endless spergings about Trump, but she's nowhere near as bad as Georgie here. While Tara still posts about normal things like con appearances in addition to her Trump spergings, it's literally all George Takei posts about. Head on over to his Twitter. I guarantee you that one in 20 tweets ISN'T complaining about the President.

This is different from just a celebrity having an opinion. I explained why in my Tara Strong thread:

Nobody said anything about boycotting everything somebody's in. That's stupid.

Nor did I say that if you were famous you couldn't have an opinion. There's a difference between expressing an opinion and alienating big groups of the people who give you money and are responsible for making you famous in the first place because they don't agree with you about something.

On one hand, you've got something like "in my opinion, Trump is a horrible candidate/president, and I don't think I could ever bring myself to support him. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and the freedom to express differing opinions is part of what makes this country so great."

On the other hand, you've got "Trump is literally Hitler and you're a sociopathic, puppy-killing monster devoid of basic human emotion if you agree with even one thing he says."

Far too many famous people, including Tara here, unfortunately fall into the latter category.
