Are you implying its misuse makes it lose its value? Because if so, then why bother?
The fact it is misused just helps you classify who is or isn't stupid in your current thread.

Unless there were achievements related to it in particular, as it is for Likes, a rating is pointless in the long run. I try to not bring my OCD to them too often because it would ruin my posts quality if I were to "bait" ratings.

Powerlevel isn't even a negative rating. So it's really more of an advisory that what you're doing is about to turn into a storm of negatives if you don't tread more carefully.
