I attached a gif and it shows up fine in my edit window but didn't show up in the final post.

The gifv link was added after for access to the image, but the one that's not showing up in the forums is gif.

yeah, this. .gifv is not an actual extension. it's a pseudo-extension.

right click the video -> save as -> attach the .mp4 or .webm
