I liked Unbreakable. In fact, it was the only one of his movies I actually cared for. I didn't know Split was related. I gave up after The Happening because Marky Mark only has two facial expressions which are varying degrees of his mouth hanging open and I honestly can't stand him. I mainly watched it for John Leguizamo. Marky Mark should have died instead.

I saw Split and it was one of my favorite movies of last year. I am planning on seeing Unbreakable but I hope that this film proves to be good or if worse comes to worse, hilariously bad.

I'm optimistic about it. It doesn't look like it's got a huge budget which is good because M Night seems to shit the bed whenever he has a huge movie budget it seems.

He's not a bad filmmaker, really. Visually his movies are well done and interesting shot wise but the story gets...convoluted the more money he has to jam pack needless things. Having that restriction for fx's means he has to focus that story on key components.

Hmm, I had high hopes for unbreakable but found it rather dumb, and also I thought it ended just when it was starting to pick up. I never even heard of split.

Now, the ultimate ultimate twist would be that this is actually the prequel to 6th sense, and Bruce Willis actually died in the train crash at the beginning of unbreakable. Of course, that would make no sense, so it's right up Shamalama's alley.

Optimistic about this one. Split was one of the best films from 2016, and this premise would be very interesting if pulled off correctly. I doubt Shyamalan can fool around with the idea that all three of them are legitimately insane and are actually mass murderers under delusion, but Split didn't look like a particularly good film from its trailer either. I just hope it's good and he doesn't go back to shitting the bed.
