Nobody is asking the important questions.
Does glyphosphate cause autism?
You can pretty much drink the stuff.

There might be a connection to some cancers based on what happened in South America - farmers planting glyphosate resistant soybeans and ignoring labeling and then literally drenching regions in the stuff - but there's actually very little to actually worry about when it is used properly as far as anyone has shown.

I'd worry more about 2-4d, which is used very heavily. Even that isn't that dangerous when labeling is followed, but I've never seen anyone pay attention to the little signs saying to stay off sprayed areas on lawns...

The whole problem here is that there really isn't anything better at doing what Roundup does. If there was, they would use it. I had a bit of fun a couple years ago pointing out to all my dumb friends and relatives that fell for the homemade "Better Than Roundup" stuff made out of vinegar and salt that it was actually more toxic than Roundup. It also doesn't work for shit controlling weeds.

You'd think farmers would be dropping like flies if any of these commonly used pesticides were acutely toxic. Sprayers drip and leak and you get that stuff all over you when mixing and applying and there aren't any washstands out there to clean up at lunchtime.

I think the worst stuff the farmers use is actually the fertilizer. Anhydrous ammonia is nasty stuff and it definitely merits the full hazmat treatment in handling and application.

Every time I use it, I think about how much I hate Monsanto. But then I think about how much I hate the fucking weeds I'm trying to kill, and can't think of a better way to do it.

I just buy the generic stuff. Glyphosate has been off patent for over 20 years. I get it super concentrated in gallon jugs at the Farm and Ranch store for cheap then put a little bit of generic imazapyr in it when mixing. Weeds get their fucking asses kicked around my place and I don't pay big chemical corporations a dime.

Anti-GMOs are a classic of conspiracy stupidity, always ready to produce the most dumb of opinions for us to laugh at. If there's something everyone should agree on, though, is that Monsánto isn't a friend. Monopoly kills the free market
There's a tiny, tiny nugget of truth to some of it; but those examples tend to get pulled from the market quickly. For example, splicing some animal genes into plants can cause some minor allergic reactions for some people. But again, they're overstating it in the extreme.
