There might be a connection to some cancers based on what happened in South America - farmers planting glyphosate resistant soybeans and ignoring labeling and then literally drenching regions in the stuff - but there's actually very little to actually worry about when it is used properly as far as anyone has shown.
I'd worry more about 2-4d, which is used very heavily. Even that isn't that dangerous when labeling is followed, but I've never seen anyone pay attention to the little signs saying to stay off sprayed areas on lawns...
