From early on to then, occasionally in discussions regarding Megan, people would bring up the "go, my autistic puppy! go get what I want! You're a retard who's in love with me, so you'll do anything!"

I never saw that on the official email exchange pages, so I figured someone added it for shits and giggles.

What are your thoughts?

I think it was just a summary of Megan's feelings throughout the "friendship".

It's kind of an uncharitable way of interpreting her actions if you ask me. She did pay him back for the stuff he ordered, it's not like she was fleecing him. Friends do that sort of stuff for friends, which is more or less what they were with a large dose of aspergers mixed in.

Yeah, I really don't see her as actually intentionally ripping him off. However, if I'm remembering things correctly, she did pay him back with toys or some other shit, not money. Even if I'm dealing with friends, I always feel it's important to fully pay back people with money. Even if they accept the deal at first, I don't want people complaining later how I never paid them back.

This was especially an issue with the type of relationship Chris and Megan had, because he was so obsessed with her, he would've done anything she said. Well, although maybe she was too naive to notice that at the time.

Edit: And yeah, despite what people think, they were friends for awhile. I mean, ultimately things got creepy to the point where even Megan noticed them, but they were definitely spergy friends for awhile.

Megan definitely wasn't trying to rip Chris off or milk him dry. I think he tried to give her birthday presents at least once but she refused because she felt uncomfortable accepting presents from him. There are probably more instances of it that never occurred over email.

It certainly doesn't seem beyond Chris to be the one to flat-out say it to Megan, along with the third date rule, as a "matter of fact" aside while they were... uhm... Whatever the hell you do to get ready for a trading card match. During some of the emails, I got the impression Chris didn't try very hard to hide his intentions.

Regardless of how equitable the exchange of gifts for buying stuff on eBay for her may - or may not - seem to some folks, never forget Megan's still ultimately the victim of Chris' unwanted advances and attention.
