i thought goanimate grounded videos was a dead genre
how are they still going...
...and how do these videos still manage to pull off 100K views?

Doesn't surprise me one bit. It's like the modern era of the Nielsen rating system.More or less the same - if anything, one thing I've learned is that the audiences for these videos are notoriously quick to bore. If you don't publish material for them, then the kiddos quickly disappear, only to quickly come charging back the moment something new is put on their plate. This should explain why these channels have to pump out material on such a regular basis - it's simply a case of trying to hold on to the people who find it interesting, I suppose.
Too bad the "Autism" emoji is gone or I'd use it here. But I'm sure it has a lot to do with all of this.i thought goanimate grounded videos was a dead genre

So that's how they made it's always sunny in Philadelphia app game. It's not so much "enjoyment" as it is "fascination."
... Okay, it's amusement. These people have their own fascinating little world of groundings and cartoon characters and it's like lifting up a rock to see a village of magical mushroom fairies living underneath. I love these videos. They're so strange and stupid and bad and that's why they appeal to me.
Here, have some heart-wrenching drama, a tragedy in three parts.
EDIT: I forgot part four. It's a tragedy in four parts.
How can they call it a "YouTube Premium original" if it was made with another program?
Some of the spergout was documented, but it's nice to know the reason they were removed. If there's anything I still remember from the GA days, it's the complete and utterly brazen bullshit that is their meltdown when their favorite themes, Comedy World and some other stick figure theme, were removed entirely from GoAnimate, much of the reason allegedly relating to that a majority of the videos made using the themes violated GoAnimate's TOS/TOU. Dunno if that's been documented on this thread or not, but if not I do still remember many details from it (as a former GoSperg; thankfully I'm not one anymore).
It's always a completely different vibe for meThese always gave me a creepy Finger Family/Indian bot channel vibe.
