Well, this is Thunt now. To be fair he's making a decent effort, but the chad chin strikes again.

His whole story is interesting. It seems like living in isolation he just goes more and more insane and nobody in his family wants to drag him back to reality. He only works to grift more money for surgeries (latest being a pair of volleyballs implanted in his chest) or to pay off his taxes after a detractor successfully flagged him to the Canadian taxman.
Apparently he's also a "Domme" now and makes everyone speak to him in sign language (!!) because he has voice dysphoria.

Just, so depressing. This guy didn't need to become a chick, this guy needed a therapist to help him through his obvious self-image issues, daddy issues, and normal autistic social and body dysphoria.

He's always been a depressive. In a couple years, when the euphoria of all of this radical change wears off, he'll crash like an estrogen Hindenberg. And the comic still won't be finished.

Huh, Goblins. Haven't read this in many years. I recall it being incredibly over-emotional and edgy for the sake of edge. Enjoyed it at the time but then saw some stuff about the creator being a dick and the releases slowed to a crawl so I stopped.

The problem with the explosion of later aged transitioners is how so many mentally vulnerable people are using it as an escape from other deep seated issues. When they're dealing with the malaise of depression, anxiety, and the dissatisfaction with their life that comes with having constantly struggled with mental illness, transitioning is a great escape for a few years.

It's almost like a cult initiation, first they can cast off everything they were before and blame the sadness and failures of their prior life on the fact they were trans all along. Then they're love bombed by the positive reinforcement of the community, doctors, supportive family etc. Even negative reactions can fuel positive feelings, because they give them a cause. Then they have all kinds of physical, medical, and almost ceremonial social milestones that give them the sense that they are working toward something, accomplishing things, becoming, and even if they're not feeling great all the time just yet, at the end of 'their transition journey' they've been promised the self-actualization that's always eluded them.

But five years down the road, when the new vag smell has finally been douched out of the relaid carpeting, they're usually just as miserable, if not more so. Because all the plastic surgery in the world can't fix clinical depression or a personality disorder.

If people want to live as the other gender for the rest of their lives, they should be treated the same as anyone else: rights, basic respect, common courtesy, understanding, etc. But I hate how we're no longer allowed to be critical of the judgement of any individual as soon as they pick up that trans sticker and slap it on, no matter how obviously mentally ill they are.

In Thunt's post on his transition he says 'pretending' to be a man was like wearing a Halloween costume that didn't fit. And that coming out was taking the costume off and being 'herself' and said, I'm amazed at the way my depression and self hatred have just melted away. I feel confident, energetic, social and creative. " IE all the things he's wanted to be his entire life.

That is not going to last. He doesn't realize that he's just put on a new costume, and when he gets over the euphoria of it, he'll start to feel the gaps where the costume and his true depressive self don't meet. Everyone really lives their lives in a series of costumes. No one is totally comfortable 'in their own skin'. Get over it.
