Is it any different mechanically from the previous games? Also, how much "father-son" stuff takes up the story?
Biological, he settled down with another woman.I admit, I don't know anything about the story of this game.
Is that his biological son or is he adopted?
I know kratos's old family was killed by the gods and that's why he was pissed as hell, but that's it.
Well, how about this:It feels a lot more like The Last of Us but it's still a hack n slash with light rpg elements. There's a lot of banter between kratos and his son Atreus and yet it's quite cute for the most part.
Well, how about this:
Do Kratos and his son bond through quiet moments like playing ball with one another (or whatever the viking equivalent is), or do they bond in battle? I'd prefer the latter, because I like the idea of his son slaying a god and Kratos responding with, "That's my boy..."
The story essentially one long camping trip to a mountain with all the usual camping trip tropes, such as hiking, boating, hunting, sharing stories, and last but not least, slaying all manner of man and god alike that try to get in their way.
But I need to know the "camp" to "murder" ratio.
I'd be "stuck in the ruins" too if I gave Chris Chan $1200.
As someone who intensely disliked the direction this game was going in from the start, there was something cathartic in watching The Gaming Brit talk about it. It is basically confirmation bias I admit, but I'm a huge fan of the old GoW games and I largely agree with this guy when it comes to modern action games and their bad habit of trying to be "cinematic."a review from the perspective of someone who does not like the current trend of ''cinematic approach to games'' and a fan of action games in general:
