I actually have a completely unverified theory that he somehow got into trouble at work because of his online presence. Think about it, new weird co-worker shows up with power-puff obsession and "booming voice", he seems a little off so, you know, someone decides to google him. And then they find our thread...and the Christmas story journal...and his creepy drawn necrophilia porn....and his lovely, "I would murder people if it weren't illegal" journals. It's not unreasonable to let someone go for something like that, really. But if that happened, I bet his mother and father would probably force him to delete everything as punishment ( and take away his big boy computer time). Just my theory, anyway!

I first read the journal as saying that his mother died, and he left DA out of mourning. That I could understand, and my first thought was "how is he going to deal with loosing the person who pretty much waits on him hand and foot? It would require him to, you know, act a little more like a functioning adult."

But then I re-read it and I'm calling BS. I've heard stories of plenty of noteworthy DA users faking death for attention or whatever. With Jay it's a bit hard to verify, since his activity is hidden and you can't see his last login. I don't know if there are any other sites we know him to be on where his activity is visible. His Youtube looks like it's been inactive for a while.

This happened one time in a furry group I was part of. This one guy was tired of being stalked by this other guy who wanted to cyber with him or whatever, so he pretended that he died of leukemia.
The sad thing is, people actually fell for it.. even at 13 I knew that it was BS.

Yes, I looked at all the Geis listings for the state of Maryland. Nobody named Geis died in Maryland between November 1 and December 6 of 2014.

For real though, I'm still convinced Mandy is a troll. If she isn't...well, I can't say how the behind-the-scenes shit's going down, but either Jay lied to Mandy about being dead (a shitty thing to do) or he's trying to draw her into his problem and make a scene for him (also a shitty thing to do). So I can see why she doesn't seem that sad...and more pissed than anything else.

I know this is unlikely, but I'm tired and this is funny so stick with me. What if Jay's mom was behind this whole thing? She found out about his madness online, maybe from weens, and marches him to the computer to DFE. A short time later, his internet girlfriend calls up, and Mom continues her war against the empire by giving a terse "He's dead as far as you're concerned, fuck off" (if not in so many words), then cuts the internet down for good. Perhaps she then cuts off his mullet, and with that final stroke he becomes a human being.

Like I said: unlikely, but fun to think about.

Actually, the latest turn of events still supports this theory...in fact makes it more likely.
