So I use XMPP to talk with friends so glow-in-the-dark CIA niggers can't spy, but I usually just use this client called Xabber on mobile. Anyone know any good desktop XMPP clients I could use?

It's what I use, you just need to enable a plugin for OMEMO.
Also, I personally recommend changing default settings so everything is in one window and not so damn ugly, but that's up to you.
