Good Gaming Blog Recommendations? -

The current overly left-leaning crop of video game blogs (Kotaku, Polygon, etc.) leave a bad taste in my mouth, so I'm looking for recommendations on gaming news blogs that are at least balanced and fair, and doesn't have an agenda to push on everyone. I thought The Escapist would be it, but they're not exactly RSS-friendly with their numerous walkthrough articles popping up in their news feed as well (yep, I'm one of those RSS holdouts).

If the leftist slant really cannot be avoided, at least recommend sites which aren't as pushy?

Apologies in advance if there has already been a thread on this one, in which case, feel free to close this one.

I'd list one of the sites I follow but it's somewhat anti-SJW. By that I mean it would attract the spergs of that side if you're the kind that was into reading comments or were to watch some PSA they made. Another one I'd list has a sort of religious bent in having a separate morality score but I don't know if that counts as any thing besides being focused on reviewing games.

@GeorgeDaMoose said it best. Just google the game and find articles that interest you.

I don't mind slants, if all blogs really should have one. As long as they're not that pushy and they source their info well, that should be okay. Care to share?

While googling for games works well, I guess I'm looking for sites that can help with game discovery - I figure I might be missing some good games here and there.

From their webiste:

Christ Centered Gamer looks at video games from two view points. We analyze games on a secular level which will break down a game based on its graphics, sound, stability and overall gaming experience. If you’re concerned about the family friendliness of a game, we have a separate moral score which looks at violence, language, sexual content, occult references and other ethical issues.

In that case, there's Niche Gamer. Still, I don't know if all the articles can appeal to one. Comments are bound to have some sort of tism, especially if SJW's are involved and the PSA's from the looks of it would no doubt come off as preachy.

That was actually one of the websites I would of recommended but hesitated due to the possibility of being pushed away by the religious bent. Even then, moral score is separate from the games overall score.
