Google your name -

This was inspired by that other thread about Chris' reputation ruined by websites like the CWCki and ED.

What comes up when you Google your name? For me, most of the links are for other people with the same name. My Google Plus account is on the very bottom of the first page though.

The first article is actually about me, and if you do the image search about half the pictures are drawings I've done. But there's also some Canadian war hero and an insurance agent with the same name.

I get a bunch of Facebook profiles, none of them matching my exact name (they usually have Gonzales thrown in there). When I type in my middle name as an initial the way I have it on my profile, I get someone else with the exact same name as the first result. The rest, again, don't exactly match my name.

Although I remember some years back I did this and got nothing but convicted felons from Bexar County (probably because Google recognized my IP was based in San Antonio).

My facebook is one of the top results along with news about some other woman with the same first name as me who is a HWA Exclusive Speaker.

I get some actress from some hospital show. Oddly, her name isn't even spelled like mine. If I search my name in quotes, I just find a bunch of Facebook and Linkedin profiles of people with my exact name.

Seeing as I use the same name in real life and online, I just get my various online accounts of me. (And a flickr account that is not me and a livejournal that is also not me)

If you do an image search, you get a couple of images from deviantart that is also not me or supposed to be me, then everything else IS images I have posted on the Internet, usually from GAF.

You get flying fuck all with my name. Facebook and Linkedin pages, etc.

I have quite a common name methinks.

My full name including middle name links to something about some people who died in lake windermere.

However, going through the image search I found a weird artsy image with my first and last name on and was like .
Seeing as nothing comes up regarding me when you google my full name DOX AHOY!

1. Right off the bat I get a 30-something-year-old heavy metal guitarist on MySpace who has 4 step kids and writes blogs about how he's going to see his son-by-blood no matter what it takes because fuck his ex-wife.

2. An obituary for a veteran New Orleans broadcaster who died in April of this year.

3. A website for a doctor with my name sans the middle name.

4. A Facebook for a guy who shares my entire name but likes everything I hate.

5. Pages and pages worth of Mugshots.com profiles for the same guy who shares my full name who has had at least 30 arrests in the last 5 years in Salt Lake City, UT and all over Arizona.
