HUZZAH! I have returned from my abcense to give you fellow Kiwis one ripe little lolcow...a political one. But this is no ordinary one. Meet...Gordon Klingenschmitt.

(LOOK AT THAT ALMOST BALD HEAD GODDAMN)

Gordon "Dr. Chaps" Klingenschmitt is a Colorado House of Represenatives member (yes, I live in Colorado). Known for seeking demons at every side, thumping the crap out of the bible, hating the gays, blah blah blah blah. He was 'honorably discharged' as a military chaplain for the Navy, and ended up getting court martialed because he was whining over a restrictive prayer policy where Chaplains can pray in their uniforms (or in other words, Dr. Chaps was left out and got butthurt. I cast doubt on him being honorably discharged, but I'll get to that later.). This led to him becoming a politician, and a talk-show host for something he created, "Pray for Jesus", where he thumps the bible and says wingnut things. Of course, what makes him a lolcow? Well...

ONE: HE'S A POSSIBLE SCAMMER.

Coloradopols, a progressive website, claimed that donations to either GordonforColorado.com or his Pray in Jesus' Name show went to one bank account, GJK, Inc, which is persumably a personal bank account. I'll just take a snippet from the site:

On Klingenschmitt’s Pray in Jesus Name page, there is a button to donate to his political work. The payee is named “GJK, Inc”. He claims that this is a private for-profit (non-tax exempt) journalistic corporation fully in compliance with IRS rules. This does not seem to be true. This fund is not listed as a corporation with the Colorado Secretary of State. If it’s not a real corporation in Colorado, it can’t report to the IRS. None of the contributions to his campaign committee, GordonforColorado, list GJK as donor. Paypal typically feeds directly into bank accounts – so it isn’t a stretch to assume that “GJK Inc” is merely the name of a bank account. If he is taking political contributions directly into a private bank account, with no accounting or transparency, this is a flagrant violation of campaign finance rules.

Also, GJK inc. isn't really incorporated. Gordon supposedly claimed that he "built an orphanage for 94 kids in India", but there's no real clear evidence about it. Again, as Coloradopols says:

Specifically, in April 2013, on Episode 37 of the PIJN show, Chaps said that he was “going to build an orphanage in Orissa, India.” The episode cut to video clips of Indian children clapping and singing, presumably in an orphanage. A “Pastor Basat (sp?)” was identified. Chaps said that he had been to this orphanage and had talked with the Pastor.

The orphanage was never named in the clip. The “Donate to the Orphanage” button in the video went to a Rocketfunding crowd funding site, which refers to a non-working link for “Pray in Jesus Name”.

Basically, Dr. Chaps can't separate political and religious money and solicits donations from dingus goobers and claims of putting their money into good hands, but in reality he probably spends it on fancy furniture and assorted crap no one cares about while keeping the solicited money in his bank account. His cash stream is both unethical and illegal, and may cause him to be paid a visit by an IRS agent in the future.

TWO: HE SAYS OR DOES AMUSINGLY LUDICROUS OR HORRIFYING THINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Being a Confederate flag fundamentalist, Dr. Chaps says the darndest things! Most of these shouldn't be taken too seriously. For example, he wrote a fucking book on how Obama may be possessed by demons and tried to perform an exorcism on him. He also thinks atheists and left-wingers should be gunned down thanks to second amendment rights, baby!

He's also obsessed with homosexuality, thinking that homos are possessed by demons. But this could imply that Dr. Chaps is highly insecure about his sexuality given his penchant for constantly throwing out mentions of how homos are possessed and shit.

Of course, that's not all. His videos are a rich gold mine of unintentional wackiness of gay obsessiveness and demons:

And then there's the horrible things he says - for example, his reaction to a woman's tragic stabbing where her unborn fetus was killed:

"I wonder if there is prophetic significance to America today in that scripture," he said. "This is the curse of God upon America for our sin of not protecting innocent children in the womb and part of that curse for our rebellion against God as a nation is that our pregnant women are ripped open."

As a result, he became discredited by his colleagues, he played the victim and under pressure, made a half-hearted apology about the whole thing. What a prick.

THREE: HE'S VERY PARANOID AND REACTS NEGATIVELY TO CRITICISM.

No seriously, he is. Being the narcissist he is, Dr. Chaps surfs the net for any mention of him and will complain by either Facebook or Twitter, or at the very least, try and take down a YouTube account of his most strongest critics - Right Wing Watch. It backfired on him and he ended up getting a cease-and-desist letter. He then said this gem about the whole thing, favoring second amendment rights:

“Even though I’m a chaplain, even though I’m a noncombatant, that I’m a 20-year military veteran and I was a nuclear missile officer and I was the captain of my high school rifle team, so I did recently go down and I got my concealed carry permit.”

“So for those of you watching on Right Wing Watch and issuing death threats against me, just know that if you come to my home and you threaten my wife that I will defend myself and my wife,” he added. “And I’ll pray for your soul. I pray that you go to heaven. Right?”

Like anyone's gonna carry threats. He thinks criticism is a death threat towards him and his wife, which is not true. But then again, he's a paranoid fucknut, so who cares? And of course, remember about him being a scammer? Well, he tried to deny that to a Facebook response on Coloradopols.

I've never taken one dime in salary from donations to my non-profit PTWM. Our records are kept by my CPA Norm Taylor (a former IRS agent) and published for public inspection, here: http://www2.guidestar.org/ViewPdf.aspx?PdfSource=0&ein=84-1523636 You obviously didn't read the 2012 and 2013 disbursements for the orphanage, which we funded 100% as reported in these forms. My political campaign donations are never taken by GJK, Inc. (that's my for-profit journalistic corp which rarely receives non-deductible political activism donations), nor by the Non-profit (which runs the prayer and educational ministry), but all political campaign donations are handled separately through the Gordon For Colorado campaign account (as all other State Reps do). The campaign was properly authorized to receive double-limit donations under Colorado law, because my opponent did not accept voluntary limits and I did. Thus $200 donation limit for primary and $200 for general can be doubled to $800 per donor per election cycle. The $1102 was my own personal money donated to the campaign for expenses, which is not limited by law. The $1000 donation was from a small donor committee which is also not limited to the $200 or $800 limit. My for-profit corporation GJK, Inc. sells faxing petition delivery and political communications services (my activist work, not my state-rep work) and clears my modest annual salary usually under $50K, certainly not in the hundreds of thousands as you wildly speculate. All the books are handled separately by the same CPA accountant for all three separate organizations and funds are not co-mingled. This entire story is speculation and hot air, and I demand a retraction. But wait, this is Colorado Pols, so I don't expect journalistic integrity.

In short, Gordon is a bible-loving loon that steals, lies, and is probably a crazed lunatic that says some real funny things. Hell, with his love for the bible and obsession with gays, he might as well be gay for Jesus at this point.

I didn't even know he was an actual politician, I just thought he was some loony. Why does Colorado attract both extremes? Crazy SJWs in Boulder and fundies in Colorado Springs?

Lolcows are bizarre people/groups/events, that are on the Internet, and respond negatively to people in a funny way. They are not countries, political figures, celebrities, your highschool bully, or some random YouTuber that isn't a drama queen.
