I think there is a style of music called Goth (basically an offshoot of Punk that began with The Damned, Siouxsie Sioux, and Bauhaus), but the idea of true Goth versus poser Goth is as stupid as true Punk versus poser Punk, or trve kvlt Black Metal versus people who don't burn churches or kill their bandmates.
