Okay, so, I'm not American so I have no fucking idea, but if the US government is shut down, does this mean Chris is fucked? Even slightly?

Is the tugboat gone? Will his gubbmint cheese be cut off? Any part of his life affected at all?

I have no idea about the details of the shutdown, like most Americans probably have no clue about Tony Abbott.

The government shutdown won't do anything to Chris, his wont get cut off since it's an essential service.

Sounds about right. Chris's ability to carry on as the eye of the fecal cyclone in his own life, keeps carrying on.
