Any 501c that gets lots of money typically pays to have itself audited every year and the audit is published by the board. I don't understand how people continued to donate to them after it was known. Where I work worries about having more than low single digits percentage going to admin expenses or not properly recording multi year pledges affecting how the public thinks of us (and donates).

If they feel guilty, telling them they threw their money away means that they didn't actually do anything so the guilt comes back again. This will make them hostile to the person trying to warn them, and they will reject the message. Trying to tell the virtue signalers that they are wasting their money just gives them another opportunity to reflexively virtue signal, as they can paint you as attacking a trans organization which they can then defend for more Ally Points.

Of course this is all exactly how scumbags like TLL like things. Genuine compassion towards trans people is the absolute last thing they want. People who actually cared about trans lives would ask questions. True compassion wants to know. True compassion takes the time to learn. True compassion can spur you to form your own opinions which may run contrary to those of established leadership. Guilt just wants to get an obligation out of the way as quickly as possible. The left stopped being about compassionate many decades ago, and has been wrapping up guilt in fancy clothes and calling it compassion ever since.
