Kjel deleted fucking everything on Facebook, all the way back to the start of TLL. He's been pretty boring ever since he found a marijuana dispensary that delivers. Social media was only fun when he got to talk down to people.

In related news.

TLL dropped their 990 for 2019. This is the first full year without their founder. The new staff is much smarter than Kjel was about not bleeding the place dry.

For historical interest I looked back at the older 990s they filed. I didn't want to get too autistic with the data so here's just a few of the highlights:

It's so lazy they copy pasted some of the 2016 filing into the 2017 filing.

It's all made up , nothing makes sense. Kjel lost his golden goose and let it be taken over by a retarded diaper fur who is now pulling $2 million in annual gross revenue.

Bunny and the org's number two bumped their salaries up to more than Greta and Nina ever paid themselves. 85K a year to just keep your mouth shut and stay out of the spotlight. Nice work if you can get it.

If Kjel and Pajeet had stuck to just paying themselves an extravagant salary they would have gotten away with it. It was treating the entire organization's budget as their personal piggy bank that got them in trouble. One is legal and lots of supposedly charitable organizations do it, but the other is illegal.

The coup might have happened regardless, I dunno. (Their ultimately fatal mistake was failing to realize that troon armor offers limited defense against other troons.) But as it played out, they sure made themselves easy to topple.
They made it almost mandatory. They were so out of control they were endangering the actual tax exempt status of the organization, which would have completely upset everyone's applecart, and if they're actually sincere about their mission, ended that as well.

It's so lazy they copy pasted some of the 2016 filing into the 2017 filing.

To be fair, this particular line item on a 990 Return (or its EZ equivalent) can be copied and pasted from year to year so long as the money continues to be spent for the same purpose. The only thing I'd take issue with is the part that begins with "Transgender people experience a higher rate of suicide..." because it comes across as unnecessary trans sperging until the part stating that they trained x number of people and handled y number of calls.

The last image showing the specific numbers regarding calls and microgrants is probably more relevant and appropriate for that particular line item. However, it's not surprising that TLL is starting to take itself more seriously without Greta and Nina pulling its strings and treating TLL more like their personal ATM than an actual nonprofit organization.

Bunny and the org's number two bumped their salaries up to more than Greta and Nina ever paid themselves. 85K a year to just keep your mouth shut and stay out of the spotlight. Nice work if you can get it.
Does it look bad? Most likely, but it's not necessarily illegal and TLL is probably being run better (relatively speaking) than the so-called nonprofit charities that solicit donations over the phone only to spend 90%-plus of their revenue on fundraising expenses and officer salaries and leaving less than 10% to go towards the actual charitable purpose. We can debate TLL's overall effectiveness all we want, but it seems like the current board is trying (emphasis on trying) to do something other than line their pockets with the money. When Greta and Nina were in charge, TLL was little more than an outright grift.

I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to look over the 2019 990 return. So, I'll just say here that I'll post a follow-up only if I find anything noteworthy or peculiar.

(Edited to add and avoid double-posting)

Also keep in mind that California is notorious for its high cost of living expenses. US$85k might be considered lucrative in many parts of the US for what Executive Director Vera and Director of Operations Saint-Bunny do, but I wouldn't be surprised if $85k/year in California is such that it's just barely enough to pay one's fixed monthly expenses (housing, groceries, utilities, etc.).

TLL's current About page (including staff and board members):

PS: @Imago - Good job posting all the 990 returns to date. I have local copies of them as well, just for safekeeping.

If you're wondering why this joke of a hotline still gets donations, here's another incredibly dumb instance of relatively normal women shilling for it in extremely ignorant ways:

I found this community retardation on twitter thanks to the Terraria creator ReDigit getting locked out of his google everything. Some tranny was stanning for Google Stadia, and scrolling slightly down had retweeted this:

The thing that makes it extra Farms-relevant though is this:

"Men stop being obsessed with women's underwear! Also please support these men who wear women's underwear." :story:

Clickbait farm NOW THIS picked up the vid and padded it out to double the length with their captioning and quotes:
View attachment 1907865
Yahoo! News picked up the story as well: (Archiive: https://archive.md/Cy )
It still blows my mind a month later thinking about how offended this twitch thot was about her underwear, and then pivots to donating to the worst possible place ironically.

I learned about the existence of this clique from watching old Null streams, couple hours later I was just listening to last Reply All episode (podcast about internet things, interesting if you can tolerate woke bullshit) and they are still shilling Translifeline. You'd think something that was such an obvious scam would be gone by now.
