I've always owned rifles and handguns for hunting, sport shooting and protection.

There’s a lot of things about “gun culture” I don’t like. The open carry crowd, tactical 24/7, or the people who don’t like a gun because you can’t use it to beat another gun.

But the levels of lawlessness that Obama administration was willing to allow was the final straw for me buying my first AR15. I carried an M4 in the military, I'm familiar with the weapon, but up until hundreds of hate filled morons rampaging around Baltimore for a week straight I never thought I needed one.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with owning a rusted WW2-era man portable steel tube that you would define as "military grade artillery".

PS. actual explosive ammunition is hard to come by, since each shell is a destructive device in itself. People almost always fire trainer rounds during these things from their WW2 relic tanks.

In this case they seek power, the power that the gun represents.

Mankind is defined by its ability to shape its world and defend itself through the use of tools, Guns are the ultimate extension of this. The opportunists like @Dynastia and @CatParty seek to take everything from us that makes us men and human so they can castrate us into a form lower than subservient dogs. They want power all for themselves and to dictate how we should live our lives.

Make no mistake, this is part of a broader assault on all that makes us manly and dare I say even human. These people want power and to reduce us to cowed shivering fragile husks who are even more broken then they are so we might have need of them.

These insecure people whether it be because of guilt or lack of any real physical prowess need for the rest of the human race to be weaker than they are because they are scared little beings who cannot ever stand on their own. No one would ever want them or look to them because of how broken they are otherwise. They need to declare themselves the experts and all of us the broken so they might have some level of significance.

They are human trash that should not be fled from but finally confronted. If not on this issue, they will push for equality in income or race, but always make sure to preserve just a little bit more prestige and power for themselves because without it; they are so caustically vile that we would discard them in the nearest landfill.

Why should I be worried about those guys? You don't just get an entirely legal arsenal like that unless you've been vetted out the ass and they're pretty much completely certain you're not a bunch of maniacs who are going to go apeshit. If you're licensed for that kind of firepower, you have probably shown you're responsible enough to have it. The licensing process for that kind of shit involves pretty intense scrutiny.
